Rosie Continues the Woo!

She claims that "Nearly everyone in this administration is under indictment or suspicion." Of course, it would help if she actually had the name of one person. The people she does name, Karl Rove, Donald Rumsfeld, Alberto Gonzales, are not, to my knowledge, under indictment. About the only significant person in the administration who has actually been indicted is Scooter Libby.

Note as well, the BS about Rosie being against the War on Terror "because it makes people into evil and good." I am comfortably certainly Rosie herself "makes people into evil and good," and the dividing line is between Republicans and Democrats.

On the other hand, Elisabeth makes the mistake of letting Rosie get away with "did Iraq have anything to do with 'blowing up' the towers?" Sadly, Elisabeth then claims that Iraq had a part in 9-11, which is not true.

Well, it's nice to see you're not completely lost in right-wing la-la land. ;-)

You do know that the most visible members of 9/11 Truth are far-righties, correct?

Yes, she gets it wrong about Iraq's involvement with 911 -- there was none.

I have no idea how anybody ever got the idea that Iraq was involved in 911 and I certainly have no idea how somebody could continue with that notion to this day. I remember before the war that every time I turned on the television some goofy talking head or another would be going on about how there was absolutely no link between Iraq and 911. George the Junior Bush was asked the question directly and responded directly that Iraq had no role in 911. So, where did people get this idea from? I think there's no question that lots of people had the idea in their heads, but I couldn't understand before the war where that idea came from and I still don't.

That Luke guy seemed really pleased to have attracted people from the farleft and the far right. Yeah good job man, you've got both flavours of nutjob.

I was going to do a post on my personal blog on China when I get the chance. I am not sure I follow you on the 9/11 angle.

Rosie is one confused lady. First, when asked if 911 was a conspiracy, she says no. Then she goes on this tirade about WTC 7 and the melted steel nonsense.

She did say they were going to bring on someone from the physics department from Harvard, although if she knew what she was talking about, she would bring on someone from the engineering department from MIT.

At 29 March, 2007 19:12, Blogger tnculp said...

The funny thing is, if she truly believes that WTC 7 was a controlled demolition, but the other two towers were hit by planes, piloted by pissed off Muslims; then she believes that two extraordinarily evil attacks were carried out on the same day, by separate groups? I think that's the most ridiculous belief you could take. Even most twoofers would denounce that!

Which of course brings us to Rosie's real belief. The government did it all. She's just not ready to say it to millions of people...yet.

I think Jenny wants some sort of comment from you on her recent attempted identity theft against Pat.

She is rather starved for attention.

Yes, Rosie's claim that fire has never melted steel is beyond woo. It's stupid. Of course fire has melted steel before. How else do we ever have melted steel?

It is nice to know that Elizabeth is the one that brought up the topic, having been busted on her Iraq-9/11 woo. Of course, I'd be willing to bet that Rosie played her into doing it.

And darn it, I know Marcia Gay Harden's cousin. If I known she was going on the View, I'd made sure she had some ringers. ;)

Just thought you'd be interested in what the Chinese think about 911, conspiracy theories, how many belive the OT, how many believe it was an inside job, that sort of thing.

Right up your alley, and all--since this "debunking" is a bit of a mission for you. That's what people with passion about something do--contrary to consdemo's inane "logic"--they DO talk about their passions, and talk shop to others with simular interests.

So, you hook up with other debunks behind the red curtain? Even this "twoofer" would find what you had to say about that experience interesting.

Sword of Twooth: you're obviously behind the curve or the other debunks don't like you. I could see that. They've moved on to suspecting some other poor sod. When they get done with him/her, the witchhunt will just continue, ad nausium. At least you keep yourselves entertained.

Prat. ;-P

I was there to find out about Chinese business and culture. I couldn't care less what they think happened on 9/11. Unlike in your case, I don't consider the truth to be a popularity contest. It is an authoritarian culture, I had trouble connecting on the Internet even to this site, so they are even less informed about the issues than you are.

What? Aren't politics, current events and "what they think about them" part of culture and the cultural experience? 9/11 had a GLOBAL impact--China is still on the globe--and you don't care? How weird is that? You DON"T CARE? How do you know if you're not curious enough to find out? You lot blog about this CONSTANTLY--presumably you DO CARE about what debunks and truthers think---but NOT if they're Chinese? No one who is as passionate about 911 as you claim to be would have missed this opportunuty to pick people's brains from behind the Red Curtain--especially,as you point out, because the Internet is wonky over there.

Unlike in your case, I don't consider the truth to be a popularity contest.

I don't know what you're on about here---I was expressing genuine interest in you trip. But go agead and be a prat about it if it suits you.

It is an authoritarian culture,

So you're more interested in the culture and busness pracicess of authoritarian cultures than the percerption of 911activism. Nice to know.

I had trouble connecting on the Internet even to this site, so they are even less informed about the issues than you are.

So you think the Internet is the end all and be all of being informed? And how the bloody hell did you find that out if you couldn't be arsed to go out and actually TALK to real live Chinese people about your interests?

God, you ARE a useless wanker.

Or the dis-info git I suspect you to be:

Either, or.

Well, judging by the way you're always wincing, I'd say yes. Although that might just be a facial-tic. Makes you look rather like quasi-moto. Anyway, while I appreciate the kind words, I'm hardly an expert on microcephalia. Perhaps you could refer me to your doctor? I'd love to exchange notes with him.

I understand you might have trouble looking at your condition dispasionately--it was very unkind of me to imply your recovery would be easy.

Hope you're feeling better soon.

And good job distracting people from the Pat, James, Nico, menage-a-trois!

You get a kick back for that, Alex?

At 30 March, 2007 14:24, Blogger Alex said...

Pat and James don't pay very well, but I take side-funding from the CIA and NSA on a per-post basis. It adds up. Soon I might be able to afford my own false flag attacks. I'll start off small. Maybe pay Nico to fly his holographic planes into Dylans house.

Ugh. Coulter's such a twit. Almost as bad as Rosie. The only difference is that she can actually be funny once in a while.

Michelle Malkin, maybe, but Coulter? Hell no.

At 30 March, 2007 19:28, Blogger Newtons Bit said...

Bringing Coulter onto the show would likely make Rosie quit. Even if Rosie would allow her on the show to begin with. Or if Coulter would be willing to go on a show with Rosie. It'd be like matter and anti-matter, unbreakable object and unstoppable force, CHUCK NORRIS AND CHUCK FROM THE GOONIES. You get the idea.

There is, of course, the possibility that if Rosie and Ann met, they would end up cancelling each other out, like matter and anti-matter. Which I think would make the world a substantially better place.

Coulter is only funny when she isn't trying to be.
