Roberts & Wieck with the Loosers

Here's at least Part I of the debate on Hardfire.

Dylan does surprise me at about 6:45:

We made that film essentially as a bunch of kids. That's the reality of the situation; we were a bunch of kids tackling a subject far beyond the scope of any one documentary. I would be the first to admit that our film definitely contained errors, it still does contain some dubious claims, and it does come to some conclusions that are not 100% backed up by the facts.... Loose Change is not really a very fair representation of the 9-11 Truth Movement. I'd recommend 9-11 Press for Truth, 9-11 Mysteries--really 9-11 Press for Truth is the one you can show to anybody.

Maybe he is really humble?

Bermas "covers" a Flight 93 point at about 8:50:

"95% of the aircraft has been recovered, but I've never seen it. With TWA 800, you got to see the hanger--whatever happened with TWA 800, you know it hit the ocean and it was dispersed throughout there--and they did put together a large portion of that aircraft and everybody got to see it...."

Of course, the reason why they put together TWA 800 was because they wanted to know what happened to it. There was no "mystery" about what happened to United 93, and thus there was no reason to reconstruct the aircraft.

Watching the rest of this half-hour now and will append more thoughts as they come up.

Update: Bermas apparently thinks Khalid Sheikh Mohammed was executed. Heck of a researcher, there, Dylan!

Update II: Discussion in the JREF Forum. Discussion over at the Looser Forum. I especially enjoy this comment from Roxdog over there:

I think you nailed it right there. I know I can come off as pretty abrasive but I'm am normally very polite and nice until my intelligence or sanity is questioned.

Funny thing, Rox, but nobody ever questions my intelligence or sanity, although given how often I try playing Ace-Five suited perhaps they should.

So is Dylan going to be this quote up on his website, that he is recommending people watch other movies instead? Oddly enough, he picks one that doesn't even argue it was an inside job.

Here's what the Link says:

Fake terror?

"The
Scottish National Liberation Army, a tiny group of extremists dedicated
to removing the English from Scotland, have threatened to poison the
water supplies of England... The threat came in an email sent to the
Glasgow offices of The Sunday Times... The SNLA – which may be no more
than only one or two people – includes in its aims the reversal of
'mass English immigration' to Scotland, and the restoration of Scots
Gaelic (spoken by just over 1% of the population) as the national
language." Scottish terrorists in water threat Metro.co.uk

With Scotland showing signs of moving towards independence this reeks absolutely of MI6/MI5 disinformation. This is a technique used by Governments throughout the ages." - Wozzly, London UK.

Well, well, could it be that Dylan cares more about waking people up, even if it's only to how egregious the 9/11 Commission process and report was, rather than his own glory and gain?

It's on topic, in that the OS supporters are frequently saying that the "govt" couldn't be competent enough to have done an inside job.

Maybe he should have made the video without errors then, although i don't think any truther would watch it, because there wouldn't be much to show...

Does the movie box have a disclaimer that says it has errors, or do you have to find em yourself?

Wow. Just wow.

Hiding drug smuggling is far easier than fooling billions of people when they saw an event happen live on television.

You folks really do love grasping at straws.

Not likely an issue since the percentage of people believing it was an inside job will NEVER reach 90%. As a matter of fact, the percent will likely go down from here on in, and when BUSH et al are out in 2008, the CT myths of 9/11 will all but fade into the shelves like the JFK legends.

Finally, an admission:

Just like the Islamic loons in the UK say the attacks in July 2005 were an "inside job" as well.

Here's how I know they weren't: I WAS THERE. I was on the bus that was blown up, 1/2 hour before it happened. I was on my way to Heathrow when I got on the bus at my flat and took it to Paddington Station.

That was as much an "inside job" as 9/11.

There's also the fact that these drug smugglers were caught by the authorities, without a movie called "Loose Crack", or a bunch of idiots running around yelling "army drug runners are an inside job!". If 7 guys running drugs for an organization totalling maybe 100 people tops can get caught, I'm thinking it might be a wee bit more difficult for thousands of 9/11 conspirators to keep their crimes secret.

So Dylan's idea of "waking people up" and "[showing] how egregious the 9/11 Commission process and report was" is to release remix after remix of an error-ridden amateur documentary?

How many editions does LC have to go through before the villagers get to ignore the little boy who cries wolf, BG?

I took that bus from my flat in Westbourne Grove, east to Paddington Station to catch the Heathrow Express.

23 minutes later, after crossing around Edgware Road (which is more Islamic than most Islamic countries), it was blown up by Islamic nutbags.

It was NOT an inside job. My mother had to beg the lady at American Airlines to let her know if I was making the plane, because she thought I had been killed. So don't tell me about "inside jobs" and other ignorant claptrap.

I was back home in Florida a few months ago, and in the airport I met a woman who was supposed to be on one of the planes which crashed into the WTC on 9/11. She got an earlier flight and was in the air when the shit hit the fan.

We compared stories, how both of us narrowly missed getting killed, and realized how lucky both of us were.

Truly lucky.

Uhh... If you're referring to the same exercise I'm thinking of, it wasn't a terror drill. It was an exercise in which a small(?) plane failed to gain altitude (or lost altitude) immediately after takeoff and crashed into a building.

Here we go: The NRO Drill.

"..the NRO’s drill was “based on the idea of a Lear Jet or a FedEx plane having a flame-out on takeoff from nearby Dulles airport and crashing into the building.” The NRO is close to the end of one of Dulles’ runways."

"Officials at the Chantilly, Va.-based National Reconnaissance Office had scheduled an exercise that morning in which a small corporate jet crashed into one of the four towers at the agency's headquarters building after experiencing a mechanical failure."
